 So, I had an idea on what to write for this blog. I want to give out some art advice to some new artists out there. While it's not the best and I've never given advice that much, I'll try my best to write it out. 1. Don't just draw fanart; try something original! I have my own original characters, which sadly I can't share yet because I want to protect them by copyright. But I have shared some original art before such as this drawing below: But I haven't done a lot of original art, as I've been drawing so much fanart. I want to slow down from it and try to do more original art. A lot of artist have OCs or original characters, some for a franchise like Dragon Ball or Pokémon. I have my own OC, Aiza, who is based off of me! I do need to update her reference sheet, but I'll stick with what I have for now. Try to draw some original art! Okay, but this will be another Off-Topic Tuesday post, it won't be long though. Usually I post one a day, but Pokémon news made me want to post another one. Recently, Pokemon Legends Arceus dropped a trailer and near the end of it,  breifly showed the starter's final evos: I kept asking, are they Hisuian forms of the starter's final evolutions? And I was right. I always get emails from TPCi and yes, we are getting Hisuian forms. Judging by the silhouettes, I think when Decidueye gets revealed, I'm pretty sure he will be the best one. As for the other two... well, I don't know. I'm planning on choosing Oshawott for my journey. But I hope these evos will look great. Or it's possible these evos could have a diffrent name, but it would probably still be the same (Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott).  I will update this post when they get truly revealed. So let's talk some Dragon Quest, shall we? Did you know that Dragon Quest has it's anime series? Yeah. We have: Abel Yuusha Densetsu, or Legend of the Hero Abel with designs by Toriyama (well known for Dragon Ball), Dai no Daibouken or The Adventure of Dai with a currently running anime reboot, and some OVA thing called Emblem of Roto. The character Dai from the Dai no Dabouken series has appeared in Jump Force which is the first time a DQ character appears in a video game outside the series and I believe this might be the first time Dai gets introduced to the west: I will talk about Abel in the future, but for now, let's focus on Dai. One day, I was browsing on Google to find some Japanese Dragon Quest stuff and stumbled apon this fan made RPG based on the Dai series.   My art class has a discussion up that's due on Thursday (I'm already finished early) and it talks about Kerry James Marshall. My professor linked this video and watching 7 minutes of it, I say, it's an interesting watch. I highly suggest you check it out if you can, check out Kerry's works. This is a bit of an off topic post and I didn't know if it would fit in my blog, but although I am an artist who draws fanart, I think I will put it here cause it's very interesting and important. I might shift focus on drawing original and cool art some other time. Enjoy the video.

I drew Samus and Pikachu last year. Reason why: I kept thinking about the Subspace Emissary from SSB Brawl. That cutscene has been burned into my memory ever since my dad played the game on the Wii that I wanted to make these 2.  A lot of people on my Twitter loved the drawing! I think it has 100+ likes. My drawings on Twitter rarely get 100 likes cause people barely see them. The full process and cutscenes from Brawl will be below. Here's my process on my animation of Blonde Launch from the Dragon Ball series, done last year. This animation is based on an episode of Dragon Ball. In the original, Bulma and Puar were there. I was planning on adding them, but I decided to scrap plans to not add them. Launch was really fun to draw and animate in Procreate! Also, Launch is one of those underrated DB characters that deserves more love. I draw her... a lot and have some Launch related merch in my room. Reason why she's called Launch is because Funimation gave her that name, and I'm more used to it than her manga/Japanese name, Lunch. Enough talking, here's the process: Sketch/WIP: Colored/No Background: I then added a green background so that I can add Launch in a background I made.  I made the wall area a separate layer.
