Stepping away for a while...

These past couple of days have... been crazy for me. I haven't been feeling great. Not sick, just not feeling motivated to do anything at all. I also had more restless nights. I was going to start chapter 16 of SaGia on Monday or Tuesday, but never started on it. I'm still away from social media and will be quiet on this blog. My contact page keeps getting visits (22 page views as of this post), but no one reaches out to me. I don't understand. Same with my Linktree... people view my Linktree page but don't click on anything. I tried everything I could promoting my Ko-fi shop too. I know social media isn't a reliable place, but I try to promote it every now and then whenever I feel like it. As I said in my previous post, this economy sucks and people are holding back from spending. Wednesday and Friday, I had to talk to my dad about my feelings. Looking Up at the Same Sky + Bonus Test Animation and Vent

I had such a terrible last week. Although there were some positives such as being interviewed last Monday about my comic and it being shared on Wednesday, there were some negatives as well such as said interview not getting enough reach, even after sharing some of the clips from the interview on my socials, my vent about the mobile game Dragon Ball Legends going way downhill with the addition of the Legend rarity , and Popeye's messing up my order by giving me a regular chicken sandwich instead of a spicy one. As mentioned in my previous post, I was laying in bed, crying badly. I haven't been feelin' motivated at all to draw any new fanart, nor work on SaGia. I didn't really draw anything on Valentine's Day. One day, I got bored and made this new SaGia art of the main four (Haido, Lain, Lass, Rena) in the same cel-shaded 90s anime art style similar to my current banner and profile pic that's on my Bluesky, Facebook page, etc: I really liked how the new drawing ...

Leaving a gacha/mobile game behind... a long post.

Originally, I was going to make this post private to my subscribers on my WordPress, but decided to make it public. Be prepared as this is a long one. If you don't want to read this post, that's fine. Not a lot of people really interact with my posts here or that they care about me sharing my art. Let's talk about a mobile game that I've been playing since 2021... 5 years. And it's my first gacha game and only gacha that I currently play: Dragon Ball Legends. More like, "Greedy Ball Legend(ary maintenance)". I wish I never hopped on. I fell in the gacha trap. For those who don't know what a gacha game is, look it up or click this link . It's basically virtual gambling with getting fictional characters and you don't know if you will get that rare, stronger unit or not. (man, I miss that title screen.) Today is my dad’s birthday, and I gave him this watercolor drawing of SSB Goku!  And yes, I’m excited for the new Super arc! Might pass on the Beerus/Super remake. Originally, I was going to do Super Saiyan 3, but because of the new Super stuff that was announced on Saturday, I chose Super Saiyan Blue instead. What happens if you 100% Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (GBC)?

I've never seen anyone 100% this game online, so I decided to do it myself and document what happens if you get all of the medals in every level. Wow, one-hundred percenting this game was a pain . I had to take breaks from this game because of how some levels started to get difficult - notably level 9. The final level especially: they throw so many enemies at you that your health drains quickly. Luckily, I played on an emulator that has a rewind option - SameBoy (it's a good emulator for playing Game Boy and GBC games - I recommend it!). After getting all of the medals in the final level, you're greeted to the same congrats screen and I thought that was it. Turns out, there's another screen congratulating you for getting all of the medals.  And then, the credits roll. That's it. I'm never coming back to this game ever again. At least levels 1, 3, and 4's music sounds good to me :). This game actually makes me want to watch all of the show. By the way, I love...
