Final Art Project - Collage and Design

Image
I found an article on CNN that interested me and it talked about Ketanji Brown Jackson being elected and changes around her. I picked out some important info and wrote them down. I also drew my logo/symbol. The symbol is the Black Lives Matter symbol, but I wanted to have a star inside the fist with a US Flag behind. I picked out some images and chose some of the important stuff I wrote from the article. I only used 4 of the 5 I wrote down. I start preparation. I felt like having more images and for the text, instead of using white paper, I decided to use some of the background for the Ketanji Brown Jackson image. Here are my final three images: For this one, I wanted to use an image of Ketanji Brown Jackson standing behind the US Supreme Court, speaking to the audience to show that she is giving faith to the world. I chose and quoted Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton from the CNN article. I wanted to show Faith in this image. For the second one I finished, I picked an image of a couple ...

Miraculous Ladybug's S4 Finale... let's talk about it.

Image
WARNING: CONTAINS  SPOILERS FOR ML SEASON 4 FINALE'S ENDING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. WARNING: CONTAINS  SPOILERS FOR ML SEASON 4 FINALE'S ENDING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I said I would be takin a break from blogging, but I really need to talk about this. Miraculous Ladybug Season 4 finale - Strike Back (Shadow Moth's Final Attack Part 2). Finally, it's here (although this episode aired early in other countries) and wow... just wow. I have to say, this series is seeing some major improvements. So, in this finale, we have Marinette, giving the Miraculous of the Dog to Adrien (who is Félix in disguise). After defeating Risk and Strike Back and saving the world one last time, Ladybug returns all the Miraculous, with Alya giving up her Miraculous. I still feel bad for Alya. Ladybug confronts the real real Adrien, and Adrien is confused and doesn't know what Ladybug is talking about. Until he mentions Félix. Marinette starts to have a panic attack and Félix takes away her yo-...

Gengar Fanart (Art Trade)!

Image
This was an art trade drawing I did last year with someone I follow. In return, they drew my OC (yes, I have an OC). Enjoy the process below! There will not be an off topic Tuesday tomorrow. Might take a bit of a break from this blog cause I have finals and Google has been having trouble or gotten slow indexing some of my pages. If you like my works, support me on Ko-fi !

Text Based Design!

Image
As finals is getting close for me, I want to share a recent art project I finished for my art college class. This project is called "Text Based Design". For reference, I used an image of a Steller's Jay (one of my favorite birds). As for the background, it's a poem I found online since I couldn't really find a poem or song about Steller's Jays. It's called "Blue Jay Bird" by Phoenix Moore ( link ). Process: (last 2 images are a closeup of the final design, seen above. You can't really see the blue in that image.) Interactive Veemon Alarm Clock: A Cool Digimon Plush!

Image
I remember somewhere around 2016 or 17, I was browsing on the internet and searched "Digimon Alarm Clock". And then, I stumbled apon this thing: a Veemon alarm clock.  I kept asking my mom I want it for Christmas, but she was like, "no". Every year, I kept asking my parents I really wanted one but finally in 2020, I bought one for myself, in used condition for about $60. I was excited to have one of my own while binge watching every Digimon season for the first time (I believe I was watching 02) and he finally came. So I will try to cover thing in full on this blog. I did make a video on it last year, but I want to go into good detail.  Before I do, if you're planning on buying one, they tend to cost $100 or more on eBay (or Mercari). You might be lucky to find one for less, but always check the condition on it.  (as of writing this, there are 2 available on Mercari and 2 on eBay; it's hard to find a good working one!) Sometimes, the plush's eye...

Off Topic Tuesday: Disney and their live action remakes. Just no.

Image
I've been growing up with Disney since 2002, the year I was born. Movies like "The Lion King" and "Lilo and Stitch" were beautiful and well animated, and some of these movies have sad, emotional scenes like Mufasa's death. One movie I love watching was "Enchanted", and it's still one of my favorite Disney movies to this day. It has a mix between animation and live action (another movie with a similar thing was Who Framed Roger Rabbit). And with that movie getting a sequel "Disenchanted", I'm just excited and I really hope it's good. Fun fact: Giselle used to be a Disney Princess. I remember seeing her on the Disney Princess website when I was little, but because of Amy Adams protecting her rights (I think?) they sadly removed her from the lineup as well as Disney Parks (I wish I was there to meet her!) But let's talk about Disney and their live action remakes. The first one I remember seeing a teaser of was "Cinderell...
