(photo credit: SoraNews 24 ) So, this is something I wanted to bring up. Sunday, I got to watch a Godzilla marathon on a channel called Comet. They played the original Godzilla on TV, and the last movie they played was “Terror of Mechagodzilla”. I stayed up until 3am to watch the movies they played and boy, it was fun, since it’s my first time watching Godzilla movies and getting into the Kaiju genre. Another genre I’m planning on getting into is Tokusatsu. While watching some old shows on cable last night like “The Dick Van Dike Show”, my dad was like, “You like this stuff” and I replied with “Yes”. He called me old (it’s a joke, btw). Okay, back to the whole Godzilla thing. I was talking to my friend while watching the movies on cable and told him how I prefer old anime over modern. I told him that I prefer the old, round designs of Toriyama’s (OG Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump) than his current designs. Z’s designs are more sharp, but I still prefer the OG Dragon Ball designs.   On the 9th, I saw the Sonic sequel and it was epic! I have made a full video talking about spoilers on my Youtube channel, wimbearn. The theater we went to had these special 4DX chairs and watching the Sonic movie with the chairs was amazing as you felt like you were in the movie. There were scenes that made the 4DX experience more enjoyable: Sonic fighting Knuckles, the snow scene, and a couple of rain scenes, like where Sonic tried to run across the water but couldn’t make it. I tried to keep my eyes open on certain scenes but water kept spraying on my glasses. Best scenes for me: Sonic and Tails dancing, the wedding scene, snow scene, the fight scenes. I also love the references to the old Sonic games such as Eggman’s old outfit being shown while his assistant was choosing outfits and when Eggman was in the giant robot, his assistant pulled out a manual and the logo looked like the SEGA Genesis logo. Also, love the Mean Bean café, cause it’s a reference to Dr. Robotnik’s Mean ...

So… this will be a normal post with only words, no images. If you’re not that type of person, you don’t have to read this. But it’s important so you can know me better. I started this blog in January to share my art and my interests. And if people are interested in my work, they can check me out on my socials. But there have been struggles with my blog:  1. Google and Bing have been slow indexing my pages or don’t give a darn about indexing them. 2. People don’t really care. 3. I try to get this blog out there, but it hasn’t been helping. I could use WordPress, but I’m still deciding on switching or not. These are reasons why I barely blog on here now. Some posts that I like, such as my review of a Veemon plush I did last month, has 0 page views… I put a lot of effort into making that post. And the off-topic Tuesday posts, well, I feel like I ran out of something to type up. I still haven’t wrote a full spoiler review for the Pokémon Legends Arceus game cause of college and also my...
