 I have a lot of unposted art from January. But here’s some SATAM fanart I did! Enjoy the process below.

I'm 1 day late, but I missed Pokémon Day. Yesterday, while browsing social media, I saw fanart of these Pokémon starters. I thought they were for a fangame, so I let it slide. Today, while browsing my Instagram, I saw the same cat starter again. I was like, "Is there a new Pokémon game?". So I looked it up and... it's real! I watched the trailer and it looks like another Sword and Shield or Arceus game. But every time I look at the starters, they look like something you see on DeviantArt (I still can't unsee it) but they are 100% official.  Also, I love how they started the trailer off. Very nice, Game Freak.   So we have Sprigatito, a grass cat, Fuecoco, a fire croc, and Quaxly, a duckling (lol they couldn't call him a water duck). I do look forward to these evos because I'm in between Sprigatito and Quaxly. Boy, I can't believe these starters are real. But I'm hyped for the new games! Let me know your thoughts in the comments. This was my first time drawing a mech design. And looking back on this drawing from last year, I still love it. So here’s fanart drawn by me: Evangelion Unit-01! Enjoy the process below.

 Another art project finished for my college 2D design class. This is a coloring book collage and out of all the art project stuff I've done in this class, this is by far, my favorite. Here's the steps on how I got this done! The books I used are called "A Passion for Japan" and "Enchanted Forest". Most of the designs come from the latter. I picked a couple of designs. For the squirrel and fox design, I took the squirrel's head and combined it with the fox's body and for the tail, it's the fox's but with parts of the squirrel's tail. I have my own tracing paper from Hobby Lobby, but I realized it was the wrong size. But I traced some designs in the book and cut pieces separately so I can transfer them on the 18" x 24" tracing paper I picked up at the college. For the flower design (see top image, bottom right), I took a part of the flower so I can create a sun. As for the tree, I didn't want to trace every petal, so I decide...

(WARNING: may contain spoilers for Journeys if you haven't seen it or just waiting for the dubbed episodes if you don't care for the subs) Pokémon Journeys, or simply just Pocket Monsters in Japan, has been a good series so far. There are episodes I like and some were eh (like the Pikachu Team Rocket/Marshtomp episode) for me. We also cannot forget the infamous Goh catching Suicune episode that broke the Anipoke fandom (and what's even worse is that he caught a legendary in a Pokeball!). I do hate staying up at night and waiting until 1 am to watch a Pokémon episode on Youtube that could be good or not. Being Pacific time sucks. I don't understand how people upload clips of a recent episode so darn fast on YouTube. Probably cause they're screen recording the stream. We had a lot of characters return to the anime, such as Gary, Iris, Erika, Dawn, even Biff- I mean Butch and Cassidy! But my top 5 characters that should return to the anime. 5.  Last year, I made this really sad Raboot. The reason why was because of how I was feeling - sad and depressed. I’m doing okay now, but there are times, especially on social media where I feel depressed as I scroll, and even seeing a lot of good art others have made.  Enjoy the process below. I will be taking a break from posting on this blog. There will be an off topic Tuesday next week. I have been getting frustrated with Google Search Console, as one of my posts has a redirect error when it doesn't and it has no problems when I rechecked this blog. Some pages haven't been indexed yet. I cannot stand search console. Another thing I fear is this blog getting hit, taken down and deleted, but I don't think that will happen. I had no trouble so far.
