So you want to make a original indie comic/manga, huh? (advice)

This one has been sitting in my drafts since July and it's time for me to finally post this. When I got a comment on my SaGia promo post on Threads about starting a comic for the first time, I gave them some small advice (I was typing at night and I was tired). Then I decided to expand on it through one of my long Threads . Even though not enough people saw it, I think it might've been helpful for those who want to start drawing comics. But, after thinking about that Thread for days, I've decided to expand on that topic and also the mistakes and frustrations I went through making SaGia. It's been a while since I've made one of these "tips" posts.  Before I begin, let me introduce myself. Hi, my name is Arnezia W., author and illustrator of my own original manga series, SaGia. Art Advice from wimbearn!

 So, I had an idea on what to write for this blog. I want to give out some art advice to some new artists out there. While it's not the best and I've never given advice that much, I'll try my best to write it out. 1. Don't just draw fanart; try something original! I have my own original characters, which sadly I can't share yet because I want to protect them by copyright. But I have shared some original art before such as this drawing below: But I haven't done a lot of original art, as I've been drawing so much fanart. I want to slow down from it and try to do more original art. A lot of artist have OCs or original characters, some for a franchise like Dragon Ball or Pokémon. I have my own OC, Aiza, who is based off of me! I do need to update her reference sheet, but I'll stick with what I have for now. Try to draw some original art! Maybe think up of your own characters, world, and more like I'm doing (like I said, I can't share them until I get...
