Shinobu Collection!

The insect Hashira! Shinobu is my favorite Demon Slayer character and I want to share my collection of her so far (mostly plushies). Why do I like her, you might ask? I just like her design and colors used on her design. I think she's adorable!

Talking Shinobu (Bandai; 2022)

For this plush, she has voice recognition! I got her last year on a website called Tokullectibles as a birthday gift. Problem: sometimes her mic isn't that great and she can't hear you and you need a good knowledge of Japanese to understand this plush, which I lack.

From Tokullectibles:

"This talking Shinobu doll features 4 modes of play and voice recognition so that she can respond to your words (in Japanese of course!)

Story Mode: Shinobu will respond to a predetermined list of phrases like "Good evening" etc.

Word Game: You can play a word game with Shinobu using the included word table.

Sound mode: Shinobu responds to sounds rather than dialogue

Dialogue: Shinobu will speak dialogue from the show."

The word game is a Japanese game called Shiritori. I can't play this mode because like I said, I lack Japanese skills. 

But out of all of the plushies of Shinobu, this one is the most high quality. Her hair is soft!

6.5” Plush Asst Series 1 (Bandai; year unknown)


I saw her at my local Barnes & Noble and I was originally not gonna pick her up because of her expression/face.

But, I ended up picking her up before leaving 😂. She’s cute!

Plush w/ suction cup (Unknown year and company; bootleg)


This plush was super soft. I had to get her. Found it at a store in a mall. I usually stay away from bootleg plushies due to them looking off from official designs, but… this bootleg plush is so cute, looks close to Shinobu's actual design (no messed up face!) and it has a suction cup. The cute smile and face made me want to buy her. Even though it’s only made to be put in your car, I sleep with her. Her forehead is really big though… reminds me of the foreheads you see on the characters in Code Lyoko (Yumi is the most common people make fun of for having a big forehead).

Funko POP! Animation: Demon Slayer Shinobu Kocho (2023)


Yay! I finally got my hands on this Funko after missing out last year. It's so beautiful and the seller I bought this Funko from on Mercari put a protective case on her. Got her at a good price and I had to double check to make sure she isn't a bootleg and it's a legit POP. Why did you have to make her exclusive, Funko? This is my first Funko store exclusive POP. I found this video that talks about Funko exclusives and he says that once they're sold out, they won't restock which made me mad.

...and then Funko gets lazy and makes the same mold but Glow-in-the-dark. I'm good if they make a glow in the dark variant. I don't need two of the same Funko POPs. -_-


Funko POP! Animation: Demon Slayer Shinobu Kocho (SDCC 2024)


Originally, I wasn’t going to get this one… but ended up getting her after thinking about it for months. It’s a disappointing Funko than the 2023 Shinobu Kocho but it’s still cute. Someone on Reddit said that they weren’t going to get it because she looked depressed and I have to agree 🤣. I got this from a website called Ozzie Collectables. Never bought from them before and I never bought anything from Australia, but she arrived safely (and I had to sign for the parcel). And she came in a protector.


Funko POP! Animation: Demon Slayer Sumi-Ink Shinobu Kocho (Entertainment Earth Exclusive; 2026)


Aw man, here we go again with another exclusive Shinobu POP 2 years later. This one is actually beautiful and I love the detail around her eyes! 

Seriously Funko, please stop making her exclusive. This is the third time...

Although this one is exclusive to EE, this is also on the Funko shop as an exclusive (she appeared when she was released; before that, for some reason, when Funko did pre-orders for the Sumi-Ink Demon Slayer POPs, Shinobu was featured in their image on the homepage of the site but wasn't available to pre-order). And this is the first exclusive Shinobu POP to have that dreaded exclusive sticker with the pointless QR code on it.

Funko POP! Animation: Demon Slayer Bloody Shinobu Kocho (Funko Shop Exclusive; 2026)


Funko decides to not release one Shinobu Kocho, but two more this year, killing my wallet, lmao. This one is exclusive to the Funko shop and this one might've spoiled the Infinity Castle movie for me when I saw it online prior to watching the movie in August, but, I'm not too bothered by it. This Funko really captures her serious look very well. The reason I have the Funko tilted up in this photo is because I put a POP protector on it and I didn't want to capture the reflection of my phone. Make this exclusive #4 now...

Funko POP! Animation: Demon Slayer Shinobu Kocho (Premium; 2026)


Finally! A Shinobu POP that's not exclusive. I'm pretty sure she looks better out of the box similar to my exclusive SSJ4 Goku Dragon Fist POP. When I got it from Entertainment Earth, the box isn't damaged, but the top part is like... slightly open. I inspected inside and the plastic holding the POP is like, bent but oh well. I will be putting this one in a protector in the future. 

Now that I think about it and sorry for the spoilers on Infinity Castle part 1... this POP and the one above might be the last Shinobu POPs due to her being killed, unless Funko decides to make another variant of her (maybe a Christmas one?). When I saw her death on screen, I actually held my tears back as Shinobu is my favorite Demon Slayer character. At least her fight scene in the movie was really awesome. You will be missed. RIP.

My granny bought these socks for me last year as a late Christmas gift. Besides Shinobu, it came with Tanjiro, Zenitzu, Inosuke, and Nezuko. Link

I guess this would technically count as being a part of my Shinobu collection because it has Shinobu on it. Just like with the socks, my granny got it for me last year.
